One of the biggest benefits from the combination of the Zen 2 architecture and 3rd Generation Ryzen CPUs has come in the form of greatly enhanced memory overclocking abilities, and the ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Formula makes the most of this by running our Corsair Vengeance kit to 4600 MHz – speeds only dreamt of on the old Ryzen generations – whilst also pushing our Ryzen 9 3900X up to 4.4 GHz across all twenty four threads. Impressive performance in anyone’s book.
