With the extra bandwidth available on the PCI Express 4.0 hardware it is no surprise that the drive speeds are into the stratosphere. We’d barely got used to the idea of NVMe drives pushing 3 GB/s and we’re already well past 4 GB/s and bumping against 5 GB/s even in these early days. The Crosshair VIII Formula is no slouch.
