The Prime is the motherboard we did our initial 7th Generation testing on, so the following graphs are more for completions sake than anything. As this was our first motherboard it was on the earliest BIOS of the ones we’ve tested for today, so that is worth bearing in mind when looking at the stock results. The Asus Prime BIOS team do deserve some serious praise for how good the BIOS was so early though and yet again prove why we always do our CPU reviews on these boards. Thanks for not letting us down guys!

If you’ve already read our Kaby Lake CPU review then there isn’t anything new to see, so we’ll zip through the Z270-A results and give you an overview in our conclusion.
