Far Cry 5 is a good all-rounder; Metro Exodus stretches your systems capabilities; The Division 2 utilises lots of the latest technological advances whilst Total War : Three Kingdoms is as CPU intensive as almost any game around.

Like all of our GPU based scores – 3D Mark etc – the money you spend reaps higher rewards from a better graphics card than a processor alone. Obviously that’s not the whole story, but it shows how reliant gaming is on your GPU rather than having a thousand pound CPU installed.
