The X299 motherboards continue to be very closely matched, with a handful of points separating them at any stage. What the Waterforce gains in SHA256 it loses in AES256 which leaves the aggregate result very close. In the Analysis benchmark the new Intel Core i9-10980XE performs very well. We can’t compare the Cryptography benchmark as the Core i9-9980XE didn’t work at the time, similarly to how Sandra won’t perform the Scientific benchmark on the new Threadripper CPUs.
