ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero – Specifications

As well as the processors we’re also using the newest addition to the famous Maximus range, the Z690 Hero, as the foundation of todays 12th Gen review. Like all Republic of Gamers products there is a blend of the latest features which come as part of the chipset, and a smattering of ASUS specific elements to play with. The design is heavily focussed upon a a dot style logo, with both the main IO/Heatsink section being something resembling a Lite-Brite, which admittedly reveals our age. The ROG Eye on the heatsink is done with mirrors rather than lights, and promises to reflect your case lighting with aplomb.
