Our CPU temperature testing is a juxtaposition between best and worst case scenarios. We run a seriously heavyweight CPU cooler, which shows the best use case, and then torture the system for 30 minutes to get our peak reading. Otherwise known as the worst case scenario. More performance does come at a slight temperature cost, but the Intel Ultras are still nowhere near as toasty as the 14th Gen were. Which was the whole point of the original Ultra redesign.
