Passmark seems to suffer from the same issue that PC Mark does, namely that it doesn’t really matter what CPU you have as the score relies upon clock speed more than pure thread count. How else do you explain the i7-6950X at the foot of the graph? Even looking through the scores there doesn’t appear to be that much between the three CPUs in terms of sub-scores, just that the headline Passmark one loves a 4+ GHz processor.
