Overclocking

All of the CPU’s managed 4.4GHz at 1.3v, the bigger two also allowed the cache to be increased from 3100MHz up to 3500MHz with the 6850K being just behind with a lower 3400MHz. All of this with the memory running at 3200MHz with minimal effort was awesome.

With the 6950X we spent more time exploring what was possible. Stock CPU speeds were 100% stable with just 1v! Maximum BCLK was not a large as expected with it getting flakey above 127.25 with our sample. 3400MHz RAM was easily achieved and we think that when the board BIOS’es are more mature we will be able to push this even further.
