Intel Xeon E3-1230 V5 Review

For our Gaming results we’re just going to be comparing the current Skylake Z170 CPUs with the Xeon E3-1230 V5. To some degree it follows the pattern you might expect, with the i3 beaten by the i5 which is, in turn, beaten out by the i7. Considering that the Xeon is equal in cores and only a couple of hundred MHz behind the Core i7-6700K when Intel Turbo is enabled, it’s surprising that the Core i5-6600K still beats it handily.
