Intel Xeon E3-1230 V5 Review

Although we expected the Memory Bandwidth benchmarks to be fairly poor because of the speed limitations, we weren’t expecting the CPU benchmarks to have such poor performance on the Xeon E3-1230 V5. It matches the i7-5775C in specifications and just sits behind it overall. CPU performance is very much the star of the Xeon show, so this doesn’t bode well.
