Overclocking

Despite its diminutive pricing the MSI Gaming 5 still manages a great overclock. 4.9GHz @ 1.26v is up there with the best of the Z97s we’ve tested so far, certainly those that are only a round of drinks above £100. It also easily notches up the 2933MHz XMP profile. Performance-wise there is nothing to complain about here. Let’s hope the results back up these early indications.
