It wasn’t that long ago that Fire Strike was basically a slide show for any of us who didn’t own a quad-GPU setup, but like the best of the 3D Mark tests it was a great indication of future performance and the GTX 1080 Ti shows how far we’ve come and, in this particular test, how much performance is still to be unlocked by an overclock. Nearly 10% extra in the 4K version on top of the already meaty 33% improvement between the stock nVidia GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti.
