With any new card it is important to have one that actually is launched at the claimed price. We know that there is little to pick between performance of modern cards, so price becomes more important. Especially in the current climate. The Zotac Twin Edge is the RTX 5060 Ti MSRP card. Just because it’s affordable doesn’t mean they’ve scrimped on the design though.
If you get tired of breaking out the tape measure every time you see a new case or graphics card, the Zotac Twin Edge has you covered. Compact. Exactly as big as it needs to be. Also this short size really emphasises how big the fans are.
We’ve always liked Zotac. They forge their own path and are all the better for it. Too many companies play follow the leader. It’s just a shame they’ve seemingly ditched the distinctive company Yellow. The Twin Edge RTX 5060 Ti has a massive cut-out for lots of airflow even on this twin fan design.
Should you have an older system then there is a chance your power supply hasn’t got the new ATX 3 power cable. Zotac have you covered as their RTX 5060 Ti comes with a single 8 pin PCIe power cable. A very easy upgrade path, even if this is the first time you’ve considered such things.
The part of our brain which likes neatness is very keen on the orderly nature of the Twin Edge’s… edge. A uniform stack of fins and a glimpse of the heat pipes. No empty space. Just what we like.
All modern GPUs seem to come with three DisplayPorts and a single HDMI and the Zotac Twin Edge is no exception.
