Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti with Zotac, MSI and ASUS Review
ASUS RTX 5060 Ti TUF Up Close
ASUS RTX 5060 Ti TUF Up Close
The ASUS TUF range started as their robust offering. It eschewed any and all aesthetics in the name of solidity. Gradually as pricing of ROG models has increased exponentially, so the TUF range has become their mid-price model. This means some aesthetics, but still with the primary focus on performance and build quality.
The other two cards today are twin fan options, but ASUS have equipped their TUF card with three fans. If you like graphics cards which are visually impactful, the size of the RTX 5060 Ti TUF makes it the obvious choice. Clearly we’re here to test other things. We don’t really care what cards look like anything like as much as we care about performance.
We do always have a small smile to ourselves when we see the |||= logo which stands for TUF. Apparently. However, odd logo choices aside, the ASUS TUF range continues to provide fantastic build quality and performance at very attractive price points. Hopefully the RTX 5060 Ti is no exception.
We love looking in through the side of a card and seeing all the fins and thick heat pipes. The ASUS RTX 5060 Ti TUF doesn’t disappoint. It’s also the biggest PCB of the three cards. Certainly cooling capacity isn’t going to be an issue. If this isn’t the coolest of the three we’ll be surprised.
ASUS always offer a Performance BIOS mode and a Quiet BIOS mode. With a triple fan cooler on an efficient GPU, you’d be mad not to leave it in P Mode. There is nothing to be gained by going Quiet. It’s already quiet.
