Nvidia GTX980 Maxwell Review
3D Mark Vantage
As we’ve just seen, a non-nVidia design usually has a better cooler which means that the card will also come out of the box with a factory overclock, which nVidia don’t provide. So whilst the GTX980 doesn’t necessarily blow our socks off in 3D Mark Vantage, if you cast your eyes down the graph a little to the reference nVidia GTX780Ti you’ll see that the GTX980 is pretty good. Especially as we know the power draw of this beast, but we’re saving it for the end.
