Palit GTX1070 Game Rock Review

Palit have been producing affordable takes on powerful graphics cards for years, and today we’re taking a look at the latest model in that illustrious range, the Game Rock.

We’ve spent a lot of time discussing the merits of the new Pascal GPU from nVidia, so rather than repeat ourselves or tell you things that you’re already well aware of, let’s get down to business and discover how the Palit GTX 1070 Game Rock performs in our benchmark suite.

Technical Specifications

The boost clock for the Palit is what really stands out. It’s as good as almost any factory overclock we’ve seen so far and, as we’ve already discussed at length, the GTX 1070 GPU really responds linearly to clock speed increases. If the specifications boost clock is borne out in the performance, the Palit should be right up there with the Gainward Phoenix.
