PC DIY With ASUS new GC-HPWR BTF Swappable Design

ASUS TUF RTX 5070 Ti Overview
We like the subtlety of the box. Yes it has “BTF Edition” emblazoned on the front, but the card angle is understated. By showing the bottom they reveal that this has a different power connector than you might expect. Even if you don’t know what BTF means it hopefully lessens any RMA issues from people who brought the wrong one.
Get TUF. Game Tough. That’s this years motto. We’re old enough that we feel it needs to be shouted as us over some 80s synth stabs. We just love how much attention to detail ASUS are putting into their TUF products in recent times. You could swap the TUF wordmark and logo for a ROG Eye and nobody would be any the wiser. Jump on the bargain train before ASUS realise and hike the price.
Aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder. What is pretty to you might not be to us and vice versa. We love the TUF logo cutout on the right. However, we’re less keen on the fake steps on the left. Just leave it white with the TUF logo. Thanks.
Lovely swathes of white. Glimpses of high fin density heatsinks. The TUF is attractive from every angle.
We like that ASUS seem prouder of the TUF brand. It feels less like an affordable option for those too poor for a ROG one. Which is good because it’s their secret weapon. Much better than the price might indicate, and as reliable as the TUF name implies.
The last of our regular photos of the TUF 5070 Ti include the five display outputs unique to ASUS. Three DisplayPorts and a pair of HDMIs. It’s that extra HDMI which only ASUS give you. Perfect if you’ve many monitors.
