The charging dock is designed with a similar angular aesthetic to the mouse itself and not only looks classy on your desk but getting the mouse in place for charging is easy and secure. With a Type-C charger you can get around a days play from just a 15 minute charge. Okay you’d have to forego lighting to achieve this, but the days of waiting a lifetime for it to charge are, like our phones, behind us.

Should you have forgotten to charge it overnight – we all do it – but have an urgent call on your skills then the Spatha X can be run using the supplied cable too. The Wireless latency is so non-existent there isn’t a performance benefit to be had from doing this, but it’s a nice option to have.

Despite the switches having a 70 million click lifespan we know that many of you more ardent gamers can easily get through that, so it’s nice to have a spare pair of microwitches included. It’s a very easy swap as the PCB has been designed to let you change them out with the minimum of fuss.
