Like all be quiet! products the packaging is an exercise in simplicity. Product image. Product name. Bam. Job done.

Dark Perk Ergo Packaging

The packaging actually gives you a good indication of what to expect from the Dark Perk Ergo itself. It’s minimalism manifest.

There has been a trend in recent times towards shinier plastic mice, which can make them slippery in very sweaty circumstances. This goes back to the old school grippier surface and is better for it, in our opinion. Especially as this is a diminutive mouse best suited for claw style rather than palm. Or at least those with smaller hands.

Just a pair of side buttons and the scroll wheel to really notice. The DPI button is underneath and.. that’s it. The mouse equivalent of a Blackwing pencil. Nothing extraneous.

The textured scroll wheel rolls smoothly and remains under your control at all times. Below that is the Type-C connector for charging or wired use. As you can see from the image at the top of this page, the connector is angled to give you that wireless smoothness even when tethered.

A neon orange cable is very much in keeping with the be quiet! colour scheme, and one we had to hide from a specific member of the OC3D crew.

Dark Perk Ergo Cable

In the end is the wireless dongle, letting you keep it close to the mouse for maximum responsiveness. Handy when you can have a 8000Hz polling rate.
