Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro L Review

The ethos behind the Masterkeys Pro L definitely seems to be simplicity. No additional macro keys, no extraneous plastic around the keys. This is extended to the software which is a tiny download and just supports the lighting functions. All the macro recording being handled “on key”. There are loads of lighting options, four profiles, and it’s simple to get even a complicated lighting layout up and running.
Lighting
Bright is unquestionably the word we’d use to describe the Masterkeys Pro L lighting. Each colour is well represented and thanks to the accurately cut key caps, shiny backplate and big LEDs it is capable of reproducing some subtle shades too. About the only negative is that the number keys only light up the shifted symbols, but you can’t have everything.
