Corsair K55 Core Review

K55 Core vs K55

Below is our current – and indeed Corsair’s current – K55 Pro. It’s twenty-five pounds more than the Core. Certainly it’s massive in comparison thanks to the extra G keys down the side that the Core is lacking.

Old vs New 3

Relatively, the Core is tiny. Not an ounce of extra plastic around the outside. The differences are stark. The Core is perfect if you want a compact one that’s still full size.

Old vs New 1

This is the biggest flaw in the K55 Core when compared to the extant K55. The media keys have been changed, dropping track skipping and being quite small and fiddly to press. Tucked away in the corner vs the more familiar Corsair style. Yes there is a price difference, but what price usability?

Old vs New 2
