We’ll get to the mouse on the next page, but we wanted to include it here for scale reasons. You really can’t appreciate how enormous the MM700 mouse pad is until you compare it to something, and we all know how big mouse boxes are. This thing is huge.

At 930mm x 400mm the Corsair MM700 is comfortably the largest gaming surface we’ve yet seen. It’s enormous. Massive. Gigantic… [checks thesaurus] embiggened to the nth degree. If you’re the type of person who wants to cover their whole desk in their mat then it’s right up your street.

The cable is a Type-A to Type-C, and the button cycles between a dozen preset lighting modes so you can be up and running in moments until you’ve got iCUE installed.

The coating itself is tightly woven for maximum glide and smoothness whether you’re a southpaw or right handed. The consistency of the surface is excellent. Whilst we know that a pad of this size will have a keyboard in the middle, Corsair haven’t used that knowledge to lessen the quality of the central section. It’s uniformly great.

Although being a hefty beast will bring its own level of inertia, the underside os covered with a very grippy coating guaranteeing that the MM700 is going nowhere once placed.
