The Corsair iCUE software is both powerful and easy to use, not a combination that can be claimed of all control suites. Anyone who has tried to use the NZXT CAM software, or get their ROG motherboard to play ball with AURA and Armory suites will understand what we mean. With so many side buttons to configure getting it set up isn’t the work of a moment, but is much less painful than you might imagine. If we had one critique it’s that we’d like the hardware to support individual lighting for each button, just to aid the learning process, but once you’re up to speed with the Scimitar it’s less of an issue. It just doesn’t make the transition from a normal mouse to this as smooth as it might be.
