As we said on the previous page, we’d like the lighting for the plethora of buttons to be customisable more than it is, but the Scimitar Elite still has a lot of great options and colours available to it. Normally we might bemoan the fact that you can’t control the side light, but as it serves to illuminate the side panel for those frantic glances at which button you’re about to hit whilst you’re teaching your thumb what’s where, we have nothing but praise for this elegant solution to the initial learning curve.
