Even without the weights the R.A.T 8 Adv isn’t the lightest mouse on the market, but if you prefer something with a little more junk in the trunk then it definitely will keep you happy, and the three weights are easy to remove by unscrewing the spring at the back. It’s a very easy mouse to tune to your liking.

There are three different palm rests included with the R.A.T 8 Adv and they are all capable of sitting very far back as well as abutting the middle of the mouse.

There are three side panels if you include the default one. Thanks to some carefully designed mounting holes and pins they are easy to locate and lock in place before screwing them in using the included hex key.
