ASUS ROG at Computex 2018
Artwork, systems and pre-builds
Not everything at ASUS’ ROG Booth is an upcoming product, with some systems acting as showpieces for the brand, whether it be their 40-kilo In-Win Z-Tower Aluminium Tower chassis (below left) or ASUS’ custom ITX Dream Machine custom build (Below Right). Both of these systems are visual spectacles in their own right, showcasing the ROG hardware inside in a good light by offering a spectacular external aesthetic.
While these cases clearly consider form over function, it is hard to argue with the visual splendour that ASUS/ROG has achieved here.
Now we can’t go all the way to Taiwan and forget about our homeland, with ASUS showcasing Overclockers UK’s new 8-Pack Polaris MKII Ultimate Gaming system, a water-cooled monster that offers buyers an overclocked i9 7920X or higher alongside dual RGX Strix GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards and a boatload of storage.
