Introduction – ASUS is going everywhere in 2018

If there is a single phrase that would describe ASUS’ Republic of Gamers Computex booth, it is that 2018 is ROG’s year of branching out, extending their reach into new product lineup to make the sub-brand even more prevalent within the gaming market.    

This brand extension goes beyond PC gaming, with ASUS extending ROG into the phone market, delivering a gaming smartphone that is like no other.

On the PC side, ROG has also extended onto every facet of the PC building space, leaving very few components unROGified, with SSDs and DRAM being the only two components that have not been absorbed into the Republic of Gamers. It seems like ASUS’ Republic plans to annex some new territory. 
 

  

2018 marks the first year at OC3D has attended Computex, leaving gobsmacked by how large and over the top everything is, even London’s largest gaming events pale in comparison to Computex, where everyone seems just as keen to ogle new hardware as we are.
