Best Mouse – ASUS’ ROG Harpe Ace Extreme
ASUS’ ROG Harpe Ace Extreme is a crazy product. ASUS let their mouse team go wild with their R&D budget and this is the result. We have a mouse with a carbon fibre composite shell that weights just 47 grams. It even had gorilla glass feet to ensure smoother motion than standard rubber feet.
At Computex, got to see some of the manufacturing processes behind this mouse, and they are crazy. We got to see the carbon fiber mould that ASUS have used to create their new Harpe Ace Extreme mouse. We are told that it takes 45 minutes to lay out the mould and make the shell of a single mouse. That’s for an individual shell! Beyond that, the manufacturing process behind this mouse ensures that every mouse has a unique carbon fiber pattern, which means that no two Ace Extreme mice will be the same. This is a premium product in every sense.
ASUS clearly put a lot of effort into their ROG Harpe Ace Extreme, and it shows. This mouse lives up to the “Extreme” name, and we respect ASUS’ commitment to making the best mouse they could. This mouse is as extreme as extreme gets.
