be quiet’s DARK POWER 13 packaging is simple, elegant and to the point. It says everything that it needs to say on the front without anything else. It shows the unit, its power rating, its 80+ efficiency rating, and showcasing its PCIe 5.0 power support. Perhaps it should have also listed its ATX 3.0 certification, but aside from that it says everything it needs to say. Â
Like most be quiet power supplies, the DARK POWER 13 is an simple design hat does not draw much attention to itself. For those with a PC case that lacks a PSU shroud, it has reflective be quiet! DARK POWER 13 lettering on its side, allowing users to showcase the fact that their PSU is a be quiet!
On the other side of the PSU is a standard PSU ratings sticker, detailing everything that users need to know about the unit. If you case has a PSU shroud, you will want to orient your PSU so that this sticker is not on show. The other side of the PSU looks much more appealing, and if we are completely honest, almost nobody reads these stickers anyway.
On the business end of the DARK POWER 13, be quiet have their connectors well labelled and well defined. None of their cables can fit into the wrong socket, and be quiet has provided enough options to make their 1000W unit ready for almost all systems.
