When opening the PURE POWER 12 M 1000W, we are met with a simple, no-thrills unboxing experience. The PSU itself is protected by layers of bubble wrap and the cables beside it a simply bundled together. Simple, but effective packaging.Â
The PURE POWER 12 M 1000W is a simple unit, it has no RGB cladding, LCD screens or any additional or unnecessary extravagances. This is a simple PSU design, and be quiet wants users to simply place this unit inside their systems and forget about it. The PURE POWER 12 M is purely about power, nothing else. be quiet expects this PSU to quietly do its job for the next 10+ years with minimal fuss.  Â
Design-wise the PURE POWER 12M series is simple, with its only decoration being its embossed be quiet! lettering. As we have said before, this PSU series is purely about power, not aesthetics, and since most modern PC cases have PSU shrouds, there is no reason for be quiet to give this PSU any additional flair. Â
Below we can see the PURE POWER 12M’s modular connectors, including the unit’s PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR connector, which is placed between the units two PCIe power outputs. Â
