AMD FSR 4 Redstone Tested – Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

FSR 4 Performance – RX 9060 XT (16GB)

FSR 4 testing with AMD’s Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB

With Sapphire’s Radeon RX 9060 XT Pulse 16GB, we were easily able to achieve framerates well above 100 FPS with FSR 4. That said, it is worth noting that Call of Duty’s heavy use of VSR (Variable Rate Shading) means that FSR 4 must to be set to quality to even slightly surpass the game’s “native 1440p” framerates with VRS.

With FSR 4 in performance mode, Black Ops 7 can run at average framerates of over 144 FPS at Extreme settings. Not bad for a £330 GPU. This GPU is more than capable of running Black Ops 7 at high framerates. That said, it is worth noting that these tests below use Black Ops 7’s extreme preset without ray tracing.
