Preset Scaling – Is there an easy route to more performance?

As we detailed on Page 3, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Medium settings look great, and anything above Valhalla’s high settings sees diminishing visual returns.

Moving from High to Very High and from Very High to Ultra High delivers minor decreases in performance and small increases in graphical detail in-game. With this in mind, we do not recommend going higher than high for graphical reasons, though those who are already comfortably playing at 60 FPS at high settings should experience relatively small performance losses by cranking the game’s settings further.

When it comes to performance, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s sweet spot is it’s Medium preset, offering gamers a huge performance boost while maintaining reasonable visuals.
