Battlefield 6 Tested – AMD Radeon and Nvidia RTX Performance Reviewed

1080p Benchmarks

1080p Performance

We did not get early access to Battlefield 6’s PC version. Because of this, we have not been able to test our full suite of graphics cards, at least not yet. We plan to update this review over the next few days to add more GPUs to our charts. Until then, everyone will have to make do with what we have so far.

To say the least, Battlefield 6 runs well on PC, even on older GPUs. Even at “Overkill” settings, older graphics cards like Nvidia’s RTX 2070 SUPER still deliver strong results. While it doesn’t deliver 60+ FPS at these settings, the average framerate shoots up to over 70 FPS at high settings. Not bad for a mid-range GPU from 2019.

Today’s mid-range GPUs, like the AMD RX 9060 XT, deliver solid 60+ FPS in Battlefield 6’s campaign. Note that this game’s multiplayer mode tends to run at higher framerates than the campaign. Even without upscaling, most PC gamers can have a great experience playing Battlefield 6. Remember, the results below are using Overkill settings. Much higher performance levels can be achieved at Ultra or High settings with minimal visual downgrades.

Upscaling

When we add upscaling, framerates shoot up to higher levels. The results below just use DLSS/FSR Super Resolution. With Frame Generation, framerates can reach even higher levels.
