Battlefield 6 Tested – AMD Radeon and Nvidia RTX Performance Reviewed
4K Benchmarks
4K Testing
We did not get early access to Battlefield 6’s PC version. Because of this, we have not been able to test our full suite of graphics cards, at least not yet. We plan to update this review over the next few days to add more GPUs to our charts. Until then, everyone will have to make do with what we have so far.
4K is the resolution where most GPUs typically fall off. For most modern games, upscaling is pretty much mandatory for 4K gaming. With Battlefield 6, GPUs like the RTX 5080 can power past this, even with this game’s Overkill preset.
With high settings or upscaling, GPUs like AMD’s RX 9070 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 5070 can push their average framerates over 60 FPS. At high settings with upscaling, the same is true for AMD’s RX 9060 XT. Yes, even AMD’s RX 9060 XT is a 4K capable GPU in Battlefield 6.
Once again, upscaling pushed every GPU up the performance charts. AMD’s RX 9070 XT reaches an average framerate of 100 FPS, with Nvidia’s RTX 5080 reaching 120+ FPS. AMD’s RX 9060 XT 16GB will need to be lowered to Ultra or High settings to push framerates above 60 FPS at 4K. Not bad for a £330 GPU.
