Crysis Remastered Update 1.2.0 Tested - Is it Faster?

Can it Run Crysis? – Better, but still very CPU-limited

While Crysis Remastered’s “Can it Run Crysis?” preset is mostly GPU-limited at 4K and higher resolutions, the preset is predominantly CPU limited at lower resolutions like 1080p. Even today’s fastest gaming processors cannot play Crysis Remastered at 60 FPS on “Can it Run Crysis?” mode at 1080p. This fact alone has left many PC gamers disappointed, especially given the game’s inability to use more than four cores effectively.

Patch 1.2.0 for Crysis Remastered enables significantly higher framerates in Can it Run Crysis? mode when the game is CPU-limited, delivering more stable performance. That said, the game remains largely CPU-limited when using these settings. What we can conclude here is that Crysis Remastered now runs faster in CPU-limited scenarios, which is excellent news for many PC gamers.
