Ghost of Tsushima PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation

DLSS 3 in Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima supports Nvidia’s DLSS 3 technology, allowing GeForce RTX GPU users to benefit from Nvidia’s AI-powered Super Resolution and Frame Generation technologies. Note that DLSS Frame Generation is only available on RTX 40 series (and newer) GeForce graphics cards. Even so, older RTX GPU users can use DLSS Super Resolution alongside AMD’s FSR 3 Frame Generation (a first for a PC release).

DLSS 3 gives Ghost of Tsushima a huge level of graphical scalability on PC. That said, it does have some notable bugs that are worth pointing out. DLSS upscaling can react strangely to Ghost of Tsushima’s Depth of Field effects, and to the game’s black bar effects during cutscenes. Disabling Depth of Field can work around the first issue, but the second issue will need a game update to fix.
