Ghost of Tsushima PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1080p Performance

1080p Performance

At 1080p, it doesn’t take obscenely powerful hardware to achieve 60+ FPS average framerates, even at Very High settings. That said, older graphics cards can struggle when playing this release. Note how poorly Nvidia’s RTX 2060 6GB GPU runs. That said, this poor performance is mostly down to this GPU’s 6GB frame buffer. Lower texture settings will give this GPU a huge performance boost, but even then the game doesn’t run particularly well.

With the right settings adjustments, a stable 60 FPS framerate is achievable with graphics cards like AMD’s Radeon RX 6600 and Nvidia’s RTX 2070 SUPER without many issues. Just use High settings and you should have a great experience, especially if you have a VRR compatible monitor.
