Ghost of Tsushima PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1440p Performance

1440p Performance

In general, AMD GPUs outperform their Nvidia counterparts in Ghost of Tsushima. AMD’s RX 6800 XT is able to get within striking distance of Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti. That’s an incredible feat for this last-generation Radeon graphics card. This makes sense given Ghost of Tsushima’s origins on Sony’s AMD-based PlayStation 4 console. Even so, it is rare to see Nvidia’s hardware at such a disadvantage.

Once again, 1440p 60 FPS framerate is very achievable in Ghost of Tsushima on PC. Yes, many hardware configurations will need to utilise FSR or DLSS upscaling, even with our optimised settings. Even so, getting a stable framerate isn’t a huge problem if you have the right hardware. This isn’t a game that demands absurdly powerful and expensive hardware to look good and run at high framerates.
