1440p Gaming – Lower-end GPUs struggle
As we crank the resolution up to 1440p, we can see that Nvidia’s RTX 3080 Ti and AMD’s RX 6800 XT barely see their performance levels dip, but we can see that lower-end GPUs like AMD’s RX 480 and Nvidia’s GTX 1060 are struggling to maintain 60 FPS framerates.
While average framerates are above 60 for lower-end GPUs like AMD’s RX 480, and Nvidia’s GTX 1060, 1st percentile framerates do dip below 60 FPS, which means that users of these GPUs should lower their game settings, enable some form of upscaling, or play the game at a lower resolution. This rhythm game plays best at 60 FPS or higher, as your timings matter and reacting to the game’s beat is vital.
