Preset Scaling
Hi-Fi Rush has a Low, Medium and High settings preset, but aside from disabling features like Screen Space Reflections, lowering this game’s settings does little to impact Hi-Fi Rush’s visuals. This game is designed to have a specific look, and it is designed to run on Xbox Series X/S.
Hi-Fi Rush isn’t a AAA game that is designed with huge levels of scalability in mind, so it makes sense that this game’s presets only have a limited impact on Hi-Fi Rush’s 4K performance on our RX 480. going from High to Medium gave us a 10% performance boost, and going to Low didn’t give us much more of a boost. For the most part, PC gamers will need to utilise upscaling techniques to boost this game’s performance, or simply lower the game’s resolution.
