For most players of Hogwarts Legacy, we recommend playing this game on high instead of ultra, as high can offer gamers a significant performance gain without a huge visual downgrade. That said, gamers with high-enough end hardware will likely be able to play this game at 60+ FPS using Ultra settings with DLSS or FSR 2.0 upscaling, assuming that they have a strong enough CPU.
For users of lower-end graphics cards, like AMD’s RX 480 or Nvidia’s GTX 1060 6GB, a mixture of Medium and low settings is requires alongside FSR 2.0 upscaling to achieve 60 FPS framerates with an output resolution of 1080p. The good news is that FSR 2 delivers great results at 1080p, and moving from 30 FPS to 60 FPS is worth the downsides of super resolution technologies.
