4K Performance

Mortal Shell is a very demanding game at 4K, requiring a lot of altered graphical settings to get Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti above 60 FPS at all times. Lowering Shadow settings, post-processing and Effects settings will increase framerates significantly, even in demanding areas of Mortal Shell. 

Lower-end graphics cards will require most gamers to utilise resolution scaling, creating a faux-K presentation with reduced sharpness and higher performance levels. See page 7 of this analysis to see how resolution scaling impacts Mortal Shell’s performance and visuals.
