Anvil IOPS

Input/output Operations Per Second are how capable your drive is at handling multiple requests at once. You might think that this isn’t going to be the sort of information that is useful to you with one user doing one thing at a time. However, behind the scenes Windows is doing a thousand things at once all the time, and so a good IOPS rating reflects the overall responsiveness of your rig. It isn’t always a reflection of raw speed though.
