Corsair are one of the few companies that use yellow as their primary colour and it means it’s very easy to spot amongst the crowded shelves of your local hardware emporium.

The heatsink on the MP600 Pro will be familiar to anyone who has investigated the Corsair range of M.2 drives before. It’s not as tall as some of the larger ones we’ve seen – the famous Sabrent heatpipe one springs to mind – and compact enough to fit perfectly into any 2280 M.2 slot on your motherboard. With long straight fins to give plenty of surface area whilst also allowing a clear path for airflow it promises to keep things below the 80°C mark despite being a PCIe 4.0 drive. There is only one way to find out.

Beneath that heatsink the Corsair MP600 Pro is equipped with the Phison E18 controller that has come to be found on all of the highest performance PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives we’ve tested, so hopes are high that the Corsair MP600 Pro will head towards the upper echelons of our graphs.
