Our cache test is very much a worst case scenario for the drive. We write a full drives worth of random data to it and note the transfer speeds at a fixed percentage of its capacity. Whereas the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus dramatically ground to a halt as it filled up, the Corsair MP600 Pro remained pretty capable. Again, you’re unlikely to be dumping 2TB in a single write, so don’t worry too much about seeing the slower speeds here in the real world.
