Anvil IOPS

IOPS – Input/Output Operations Per Second – is a good marker on how well the drive will perform when running your system. Any drive can manage to push a single sequential file out with some haste, but think of all the little files that keep your OS running behind the scenes of whatever application or game you’re using. That’s why IOPS is important and the Gigabyte might not bust out some huge numbers but neither is it remotely slow. The write IOPS in particular are very good and bode well for the rest of our testing.
