With this much cooling capacity there is plenty of headroom should you fancy getting your fingers metaphorically dirty by tinkering under the hood. We’d probably leave it as it is though, particularly as we already know the results of our benchmarks. The SM961 doesn’t quite have the write speeds of the Samsung 960 Pro, but there is no denying that it annihilates any regular SATA SSDs and will be more than a match for anything you throw in its direction.
