Two things to note before we get too far into our testing. Firstly the Myrmidon is running a pre-launch BIOS and that will have an effect upon the absolute single-threaded boost performance when compared to our test setup. Obviously when you buy this system you’ll have a more representative BIOS and thus higher performance. We can only test what we have. Secondly our test rig has faster memory in it than this PCSpecialist build. In the real world you won’t really notice the difference, but if you ever wondered how 3200MHz compares to 3600MHz DDR4 on the Z490 platform, here you are.
