AMD Radeon RX 9070 series/RDNA 4 Press Conference due this month

AMD’s expected to host an RDNA 4 Press Conference later this month

AMD has confirmed that their Radeon RX 9070 series of RDNA 4 GPUs is launching in March. However, that doesn’t mean we will have to wait until then to hear more about AMD’s next-generation GPU architecture. Benchlife has reported that AMD plans to host an RDNA 4 Press Conference at the end of this month. This is where AMD will reveal everything there is to know about the company’s newest Radeon GPUs.

This event will likely be hosted after the release of Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti, allowing AMD to market and showcase its RDNA 4 GPUs against its Nvidia-based rival. AMD is also likely to showcase FSR 4 in-depth alongside other software and AI advancements.

With RDNA 4, AMD has a chance to hit Nvidia hard if they can deliver strong performance at compelling prices. Launching after Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti ensures that Nvidia’s GPU pricing will be set, allowing AMD to potentially disrupt the GPU market.

If nothing unexpected happens, AMD will hold a press conference for the Radeon RX 9000 series based on the RDNA 4 GPU architecture at the end of February, but the details are still to be confirmed.

AMD needs its RX 9070 series GPUs to be successful if they want Radeon products to be taken seriously by software developers. AMD needs market share. They also need software and game creators to adopt a less Nvidia-first mindset toward GPUs. With this in mind, AMD needs great performance and incredible pricing.
